Jose Javier Gallego studied history and geography at the university of Zaragoza. Later on he moved to paris. There he studied literature and philosophy at the university of Sorbonne and Vincennes respectively, where he ateended the classes of Gille Deleuze and Fracois Chatelet.
He travelled to various countries in Europe and America. He practised many religions until he embraced Islam when he was 40, and known since then by Abu Bakr.
He moved to Istanbul where he was in charge of a school of Quran for children. Then he moved to Damascus. At present he is the head of the department of Spanish at Al-fath Institute.
