George Mills Harper

George Mills Harper is R.O. Lawton Distinguised Professor at Florida State University, having taught previously at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Florida, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He has lectured widely on W.B. Yeats in Europe and America, and has served as president of the College English Association and the Southern Modern Language Association.
