Glenn Logan Reitze is the father of five -- which to him is the most important thing about his life. Although born in 1942, three of his four daughters are still very young: 12, 15, and 17, and they occupy a wonderfully large amount of his time. His oldest daughter is a school teacher in Germany, while his son is a US Army veteran and IT contractor.

As a young man he was a journalist, working for several years in Mexico City and the American Midwest. Later he earned a law degree (J.D.), and practiced law for 11 years in Washington, D.C. He then worked for 15 years in the Foreign Law Division of the Law Library of Congress, retiring in 2005, but continued some related consulting work afterward for the Library.
