Gretchen Rautman is a chronic migraineure, author, and avid reader. She taught herself to read at an early age, and has been consuming literature ever since.

Rautman finds writing a cathartic release and has tried her hand at many kinds of writing over the years. In school, she was writing skits, plays, and the opening lines of countless stories, as well as the assumed essays and reports. Since school, Rautman has continued to write, seeking an outlet for what she feels and lives with.
