I am an ex-Soviet citizen, who was exchanged in 1973 with the US for about twenty tons of wheat, emigrated to Israel, created and headed an Educational Theater for Youth, staged his own plays in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and in Los Angeles Theater Center and wrote stories and books about his experiences in “both worlds.” Later during “Perestroika” in Russia I worked as a liaison between the US and Russian officials, headed a project of reconstruction of the famous Gorki Park in Moscow and initiated a sister city relations between the place of my birth St Petersburg, Russia and my current residence Los Angeles, USA.
