William Short OFM is a Franciscan friar of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and professor of Christian Spirituality at the Franciscan School of Theology at the University of San Diego in California. He also serves as director of the Collegium S. Bonaventurae, International Center for Franciscan Studies and Research in Rome. With Regis Armstrong OFM Cap and Wayne Hellmann OFM Conv he is an editor of Francis of Assisi: Early Documents and, with Christopher Stace, of Francis of Assisi: The Conformity. He is also an amateur propagator of Mediterranean plants from various parts of the world. (Credits: franfed.org)
