Alex Polari de Alverga (João Pessoa PB, 1951). Publica seu primeiro livro de poesia, Inventário de Cicatrizes, em 1978. Na época, estava preso; por sua militância política contra o regime militar brasileiro, permaneceu em cárcere privado entre 1971 e 1980. Seu segundo livro, Camarim de Prisioneiro, é lançado em 1980.
