Peter Griese (1938 - 1996) was a German science fiction author, best remembered for his contributions to the Perry Rhodan franchise.
Having discovered science fiction in his school days, he studied engineering and served as an officer in the military before retiring to become a freelance writer in 1986. He had become a member of the Perry Rhodan writing team six years earlier, and oversaw several different aspects, including the 'Atlan' sub-series and the Report section of the magazine.
