Beverley Cooper is a Canadian actor, director, dramaturg, and playwright known for her work across film, radio, television, and theatre. A graduate of Studio 58 in Vancouver in 1979, she has had a multifaceted career spanning acting, writing, and directing.
As an actor, Cooper received early recognition when Toronto Star critic Gina Mallet named her Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Dead of Winter (1982). She also originated notable roles, including Juliet in Ann-Marie MacDonald’s Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) and Fedoysa in George F. Walker’s Nothing Sacred.
