Pushcart Prize nominee, Sheri L. Wright is the author of six books of poetry, including the most recent,The Feast of Erasure. Her works of poetry appear in numerous journals including New Southerner, Out of Line, Chiron Review, Clark Street Review, Darkling and Earth's Daughters, Crucible and Kentucky Monthly Magazine. She also works as a free-lance editor in a variety of genres ranging from poetry to fiction and as a ghostwriter for websites such as Proud Single Moms and Deathcare.com. Ms. Wright is a graduate of Lee Kitt’s School Of Acting and has completed basic and advanced courses in Commercial Voice-Over at the University of Louisville. She has been a volunteer editor for This I Believe. Ms. Wright has taught poetry workshops for Women in Transition, the Kentucky Young Writer’s Connection and The Kentucky State Poetry Society, judged the poetry division in The Golden Nibs for the Virginia Writers Club, for Women Who Write and for Green River Writers writing contest. She was regional chair for the Kentucky State Poetry society and co-chair for their adult poetry contest for 2011. Ms. Wright was the host of From The Inkwell, a one hour radio show dedicated to all things literary on CHRadio 1650am, live-streaming at www.CrescentHillRadio.com from 2010-2012, and is currently the founder and host of the Stone Soup Poetry Series.
