I was the SWPA synod assembly chaplain for 2008. I have been the pastor of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Youngstown, PA, for over thirteen years (first call!). I have my M.Div. from Gettysburg (Yay!) and my D.Min. from Philly (Yay!). I am working on a Ph.D. in English from I.U.P. I teach college part-time at Seton Hill University.
I have over 170 publishing credits, including two books. I was a guest preacher on Day 1 (formerly The Protestant Hour) in 2009. I am married and have two young-adult children, five cats, four guinea pigs, and a fish, who is way too small to swallow a person.
