My laptop & E-reader dilemma…

I know not a bad dilemma to have right? Anyways…

I recently locked in my application to the University of Alabama! ROLL TIDE!!! I'm so excited and can't wait for Fall 2011! I'll be majoring in Public Relations and getting a minor in either Political Science or History (but that is for a different post). Side note: Alabama has the #1 Public Relations program in the country. Epic. Win

For reckoning and dead to worse, I just had to finsih the series I already started so far :P

Sure we can go I guess. I wonder if travis was invited...if not...then were so going, I'm sure I'll want to kill him by saturday morning :P

Do you have to drop me off at travis's? couldn't I just hang with you all day lol

message 13: by K (last edited Jun 17, 2009 09:32AM)

K I don't own Graceling, but I do own the Fetch. And I've been branching out too, you know. It's just hard to find anything over here. I can't wait til the new Bookmark opens in September. It's supposed to be over twice the size of the one we have now. Too bad you're not staying long enough to see it. (Sucker!!!!)

And by the way, Mitch invited us to his party on the 20th. What do you think? I need to RSVP soon. I talked to Becky about her having a party for her birthday, but she's not sure she can and/or wants one. I'll let you know as soon as I know.

And tomorrow you get on the plane to come over here!~!~!~!~!~!~! AND I SEE YOU FRIDAY!!!!!! <3

message 12: by K (last edited Jun 16, 2009 10:39AM)

K Actually, my dad's going on emergency leave the same day ya'll get here (my grandpa's not looking so well), so we'll only have one room. Don't worry though. You won't be sleeping on the floor. ^_^

Can you tell me what some of the books you're bringing are? I'm so excited!

Also, (since you're so slow to read e-mails...) here's the plan for Friday: I pick you up, drop you off at Travis', and then we meet up that night at Il Pirata for a reunion dinner. Travis mentioned that we shouldn't do anything fun without him that first day, but he didn't specify about the rest. So I'm thinking that means we can ditch him for Europa or Phantasialand. Sound good? :D

And just 3 days, baby!!!!

PS: Anything specific you want me to stock up on? Food, I mean. I think we'll be okay on everything else.

message 11: by Emily

Emily you should feel special :P

omg never again...lol

Jeffriveraauthor Hi, How are you, hope doing well!!
Take Care Bye

message 9: by Emily

Emily haha yes of course, dear.
only for you :)

message 8: by Emily

Emily Kyle! <3
sup? :)

message 7: by Kyle

Kyle Borland Of course I'll bring some :D

How will the room situation go?? Is it two rooms or a like a suite?

You know i had all these series to mention and then you asked and well...POOF! I can't think of any now :'(

message 6: by K

K You're gonna bring some with you?! Yay!!!!

And no, we're gonna cover the room at Edelwiess. I'm so excited you can go paragliding with me! Don't forget to read the email again and make sure you bring what it says.

Lol. I understand your frustration with the library. What series can you not find there?

message 5: by K

K Book shopping spree? God, you know how to make me jealous. I can't wait to go back this summer and spend a ridiculous amount on books again.

Yeah, I was talking about the Wicked series. So get it on your shopping spree and let me know how it is, ok? ^_^

Doesn't the paragliding thing sound cool?! The only catch is that we can't pay for you to do it; you'd have to cover that yourself. Please say yes! I don't wanna do it alone!

message 4: by K

K Don't give up looking for Reckoning. It's worth it.

Hey, have you read A Lion Among Men yet? I know you're a fan of his, so I thought I'd ask. I can't get it here unless I buy it, and everyone I've talked to either hated it or loved it. We've got pretty similar taste in books, so I figured I could trust what you say and possibly save myself some money.

I've already marked the day you guys get here on every calender I own. I can't wait!

message 3: by K

K Yeah, I read Reckoning last year. I thought it was just as good as Bloodline.
I really like Graceling. I wasn't sure I would, but it was definitely worth reading, even if I didn't rejoice at the ending.
Thirteen Reasons was so sad! I thought it was cool how she dealt with her issues though. The tape thing was especially nice.
The Silver Kiss is pretty cliche, but still good. It's a really quick read. Not much depth to the characters, unfortunately.
