Miguel Antonio Chávez (Guayaquil, 1979). MFA en Escritura Creativa (NYU) y candidato a Ph.D. en Hispanic Studies (Western University). Finalista del Premio Juan Rulfo (RFI, 2007) con el relato La puta madre patria y primera mención del Concurso Nacional de Dramaturgia José Martínez Queirolo (CCE-G, 2009). Elegido por la FIL Guadalajara como uno de «Los 25 secretos mejor guardados de América Latina».

Además de relato y dramaturgia, ha publicado las novelas La maniobra de Heimlich (Altazor, 2010; Arte y Literatura, 2014) y Conejo ciego en Surinam (Random House Colombia, 2013), también editada en Quito, Nueva York y México. Ha aparecido en varias compilaciones de cuento en Hispanoamérica, como 22 escarabajos: antología hispánica del cuento Bea ...more
