Tamar Japaridze



Tamar Japaridze is an associate professor of philosophy at Ilia State University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Tbilisi, Georgia. She holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto and has an academic background spanning multiple institutions, including Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and École Normale Supérieure in Paris.
Her research focuses on European intellectual history, Enlightenment thought, ethics, and aesthetics, with particular expertise in Kant and Continental Philosophy.
