Peter Kimpton

Peter Kimpton is a British design consultant and historian best known as the world's only Christmas Cracker historian. He spent over two decades with the confectionery manufacturer John Mackintosh (later Rowntree Mackintosh), including twelve years as UK Design Studio Manager, before moving into freelance consultancy.
Kimpton has lectured extensively and written widely in the media about the history of Christmas Crackers, establishing himself as a leading authority on the subject.
