Steven M. Penny, born in New Bern, North Carolina, is the author of eight #1 best-selling medical sonography textbooks. He is also the author of multiple medical journal articles, including many published in the Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology. He has published aticles that include topics in neurosonology, pediatric sonography, abdominal imaging, obstetrics, ultrasound education, and patient care. Mr. Penny's books have helped many individuals prepare for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification examinations. Steven is currently the Lead Instructor for the Medical Sonography program at Johnston Community College in Smithfield, North Carolina.
