George Avgoustis was born to Cypriot parents in 1972 in Toronto, Canada and was raised in Fort McMurray, Alberta where he lived most of his life enjoying the northern “boom-town” nestled within a forest. He graduated high school there and enrolled in a few courses at Keyano College. His love for imaginative writing was fuelled by his teachers, who saw potential for his writing to go further than the classrooms. A story, ignited from childhood role-playing, became Avgoustis’ focus for his first published novel, the epic fantasy “Neverking”.
Avgoustis moved to the island of Cyprus in 2003 where he met his wife and had three children. There, he wrote his first book which was published in 2009 and released as an eBook in 2011. A re-launching of
