'Never too old to follow your dreams', has become Susan Gray's mantra, since she began writing novels after celebrating a significant birthday. Susan loves to entwine mystery, romance and hidden family secrets, setting her stories in the Twentieth Century. She uses 'life' as her inspiration and her books are character driven.
SPANISH HOUSE SECRETS was her debut novel. BLOSSOMING OF TRUTH, HOPE ON HOPE and THEN THERE'S TRUST are a series.
Susan lives with her husband in northeast England and sets her books in this picturesque area.

I love dual timeline stories especially those relating to WW2. This was an enjoyable book but I felt more invested in the up to date characters especially Skye and Andreas and I related to them. Took me a while to get into the story but glad I did.
