I live in sunny California on the edge of Silicon Valley and close to the San Francisco Bay Area.

I study the people I meet in everyday life and they inspire the characters in my books. If you see a little bit of yourself in there somewhere you may have inspired me more than you know.

I write Epic Fantasy and sometimes a little Sci-Fi.

I have mastered the skills of diaper changing, juggling chores, sarcasm, pretending to listen to people while sleeping with my eyes open, and all while writing my next novel.

I look forward to reading as many of my fellow Goodreads authors as possible.

Victor Hugo
“What Is Love? I have met in the streets a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat worn, the water passed through his shoes and the stars through his soul”
Victor Hugo , Les Misérables

Ayn Rand
“No speech is ever considered, but only the speaker. It's so much easier to pass judgement on a man than on an idea.”
Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead

Mikhail Bulgakov
“But would you kindly ponder this question: What would your good do if
evil didn't exist, and what would the earth look like if all the shadows
disappeared? After all, shadows are cast by things and people. Here is the
shadow of my sword. But shadows also come from trees and living beings.
Do you want to strip the earth of all trees and living things just because
of your fantasy of enjoying naked light? You're stupid.”
Mikhail Bulgakov, The Master and Margarita

Richard Adams
“Animals don't behave like men,' he said. 'If they have to fight, they fight; and if they have to kill they kill. But they don't sit down and set their wits to work to devise ways of spoiling other creatures' lives and hurting them. They have dignity and animality.”
Richard Adams, Watership Down

Karen Marie Moning
“Most people are good and occasionally do something they know is bad. Some people are bad and struggle every day to keep it under control. Others are corrupt to the core and don’t give a damn, as long as they don’t get caught. But evil is a completely different creature, Mac. Evil is bad that believes it’s good.”
Karen Marie Moning, Shadowfever
