"I need to be very clear on this book.
It's a wild SF ride. It's what you'd expect if you had a love-baby between Heinlein's later books and Blake Crouch, with a heavy dose of modern tech and "Oh my god, I can't believe he just took it there." That's no" Read more of this review » |

"This book's synopsis doesn't do it justice. What sounded like a bad Steven Segal movie actually turned out to be one of the most intriguing and compelling thrillers I've ever read."

Jon, I was a peace corps volunteer working with the Semuliki Wildlife Reserve and lived in Karagutu, between Fort Portal and Bundidungio. I traveled around the area last year and read The Night of Knives while I did so. I really enjoyed traveling through the Fort Portal area, Bwindi, Kampala and other places while the story unfolded in the same landscape and towns. Thanks for enhancing my travels. Paulo
