L’Mignon was born June 29, 1979 in Richmond, VA. She attended Highland Springs High School where she graduated in 1997. It was here that she developed and pursued her passion for writing. It has always been her dream to become an author and have her works published for all to see. L’Mignon attended Strayer University, where she received an Associates and Bachelors Degree, majoring in Business Administration with a primary focus in Contract Management.

L’Mignon is the proud mother of a nine-year-old son, Makari. When she is not writing she can be found on the baseball field or spending time with her family.
