Born, raised and educated as a city kid in downtown Bucharest, Mihai soon discovered Earth and Life Sciences while reading, trekking in the Carpathians or diving in the Black Sea. As a palaeontologist and a geologist, Mihai is today Professor at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, teaching a lot, doing research and enjoying everything he loved the most his entire life: science, travel and sharing.
