“It was like this all up and down the river and many of the young people, the way they accepted their lack of prospects, it was like watching sparks die in the night...He didn't see how the country could survive like this in the long run; a stable society required stable jobs, there wasn't anything more to it than that. ”

Jesse Hanson Thanks for including me among your friends here, Michael. The American Stables looks really interesting. Best wishes with it and in all else.
Hope you won't mind my asking you to consider my spiritual allegory, Song of George: Portrait of an Unlikely Holy Man for your reading list. It's fiction but is inspired by events from my personal life. Namaste, jesse

Ed Rambeau Thanks for your friend request, Michael, which I happily accept. You seem like an interesting person,as well as an accomplished author, so feel free to tell me more about yourself. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's. My first novel is an unusual murder mystery entitled: FORBIDDEN STEPS.

Regards, and have a great day, Ed
