Dr Denise Taylor is a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and the author of 6 career books including Find Work at 50+ and the forthcoming Rethinking Retirement for Positive Ageing. A life-long learner Denise became an apprentice vision quest guide at 61 and gained her doctorate at 64, researching the psychological factors that help people find meaning after full-time work.

Dr Denise is regularly featured in the media, was a regular contributor to Radio 5 live as a midnight expert, has appeared on the Today Programme and You and Yours on Radio 4, numerous regional radio stations and TV appearances include Tonight with Trevor McDonald helping unemployed graduates get a job. I hadn’t done any academic studies since 1998 when I completed my MBA. I didn’t think I’d be accepted as there is such high demand and would I be able to cope with the high academic standards.
