P…moreI pull inspiration from all corners. Turned/Red is the product of Orwell's 1984, Grimm's Snow White and Rose Red, and the historic War of the Roses. Pieces just leak, or organically come together.

For example, in my new project, an epic paranormal fantasy, I pulled inspiration from my love of watching those ghost hunter type shows on television, and my own Croatian ancestry, that I know so little about.

Usually, what brings a book from idea to actual writing, it a scene. Those little muses bake together and one day, a scene springs up in my head, begging to be heard. From there, more scenes, if the story can hold itself. If I can't get it out of my head, it gets put to paper... and soon, a book.(less)
