A Missouri native, Kara prides herself as first being a mom to two amazing children and step-mom to three. With an Associate’s degree in accounting, Kara also pursues her Bachelor’s degree in finance while writing her trilogy “Above the Grave” and working at a local not-for-profit radio station as an administrative assistant. More than anything, Kara enjoys spending time with her family, camping, canoeing, ghost investigating with paranormal research group MPRINT and of course curling up with a good book.

Kara has always been a hopeless romantic with a very "small" crush on Johnny Depp. She is completely captivated by all things paranormal. She is often lost in her own fictional world, weaving all of her favorite things into her work.
