Bob Bond

Bob Bond began sketching soccer stories over fifty years ago, for Fleetway Comics in London and occasionally for Scottish Publishers DC Thomson. Bob has been drawing picture-strips and caricatures of footballers ever since! Now living on the Sussex Coast, he tells his wife he has retired, but secretly he was seen drawing match cartoons at Brighton and Hove Albion not long ago. He has done comic-strip histories in book form of several of the bigger English clubs, and would love to do similar ones of Rangers and Celtic. Or Preston North End, who he still follows from afar. Which probably explains why he looks older than he really is.
