Paula Dean Broadwell is an American writer, academic, and anti-terrorism professional. She is the co-author with Vernon Loeb of the The New York Times best seller All In: The Education of General David Petraeus, a biography of then International Security Assistance Force commander David Petraeus. On November 9, 2012, she was reported to have been involved in the extramarital affair with Petraeus that triggered his resignation as Director of the CIA when it was discovered by the FBI.
