Dr. Margaret Abruzzo is an Associate Professor in American History at the University of Alabama. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 2005.

Her research interests include American intellectual and cultural history; Changing conceptions of sin, wrongdoing, and moral responsibility; American slavery debate; and the history of morality and humanitarianism.
