“Christmas in New York has its own kind of magic…
Lights in every window, music in the air, and a soul-whispering feeling that somehow… everything is going to be okay. This city moves fast and the temperatures drop, but Christmas time slows the heart just enough to notice the beauty… the kindness… the little moments that make life feel warm again. I’ll always believe there is something magical about Christmas in NYC… Maybe it reminds you that wonder isn’t just for kids… that hope isn’t just for holidays… and that joy can show up in the middle of a crowded sidewalk. It’s a special time…. a season that makes this city and my soul glow… inside and out.” Steve Maraboli |

“When it’s freezing out, I catch myself daydreaming…
I imagine owning a tiny café somewhere warm and beachy. Nothing fancy… just beautiful simplicity… open mornings only… a few tables… some coffee, tea, and the familiar faces of family, friends, and neighbors drifting in for conversation, laughter, and a little moment of peace before the day pulls us into whatever comes next. It’s a simple dream… but you know how I feel about simplicity… it’s magical. It feels good. It feels good because there’s something powerful about keeping a small circle of soul-enriching people close. It feels good because there’s something comforting about starting the day with simplicity instead of noise. Life moves fast. But in this simple daydream of mine, I’m reminded that I don’t need much to feel grounded… Just warmth, presence, and a community environment that feels uplifting for my soul and my health. It’s funny how the smallest visions can make the world feel lighter. Here’s to daydreams… and slowly, quietly, ste ...more Steve Maraboli |

“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.”

“Dare to Be
When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.
When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.
When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.
When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.
When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.
When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.
When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.
When times are tough, dare to be tougher.
When love hurts you, dare to love again.
When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.
When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.
When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.
When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.
When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.
When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.
Dare to be the best you can –
At all times, Dare to be!”

“Letting go means to come to the realization that some people are a part of your history, but not a part of your destiny.”

“Your circle matters…
Maybe the frustration you feel isn’t about you at all… maybe it’s about the environment you keep. You’re an OCEAN, but you’ve been shrinking yourself into a pond… all because you’re surrounded by people who can’t swim.
It’s better to have a few who celebrate your depth, your growth, your waves… than to have many who only feel safe when you make yourself small.”

“Let today be the day you are reminded that TIME is the most precious resource we have. Unlike money, possessions, or opportunities, once a moment is spent, it can never be earned back.
It’s humbling that we don’t know how much time we have left… There’s no balance sheet, no account to check, no way of predicting when the clock on this human experience will run out.
Don’t let the uncertainty scare you… Let it inspire you to live with intention, to invest your moments in people and experiences that enrich your lives, to stop wasting hours on bitterness, regret, or meaningless distractions.
Let today be the day you recognize that each sunrise is a deposit into an account we can only spend once… and have the wisdom and courage to spend it on love, on growth, on joy, on family, on health, on presence.
Time slips quietly away… but you can squeeze it for its unlimited abundance and find timeless meaning and impact in how you spend it.”

“Like all living things, relationships thrive when nourished.
Whether friendship, family, or intimate relationships, it’s so important to do more than just speak… but to connect. Healthy connection is the heartbeat of a relationship.
Let’s sit with those in our circle and create a space where we can lay down our burdens without fear of judgment, and where our victories are celebrated with genuine joy. This level of communication and connection build the bridge that carries trust, empathy, and love across the seasons of life.
Life doesn’t have to be carried alone.
When nurtured with kindness, openness, and respect, our friendships and relationships can become a sanctuary for the soul.”

“It was a dark and painful time. I knew better, but still allowed it. It led to a special kind of heartbreak… a devastating realization that the only thing we had in common was that we both didn’t love me.”

“Missing you comes in waves. Tonight, I’m drowning. Thinking of you… and although I’m usually strong, uplifted by your memory, I can’t deny that sometimes it feels like we both died that day… but only you stopped breathing.”
