While author M. Sparks Clark SWEARS there are also humans who like her books, it was very important to her that the creatures who are represented in her lighthearted Ele Carmichael series, were pleased by her representation of them. (Although they have yet to bestow upon her any prestigious literary awards.)

While author M. New to the publishing world, she is finding her feet and her followers one day at a time and is loving the heck out of the whole process.

The Ele Carmichael Series is a wild romp through the backwoods of the author's home state of Oklahoma. The books would be cozy if Ele didn't have such a salty tongue. They are the quintessential comfort reads for those who like wholesome (apart from the language!), warm-hearted adventure stories of friendship, found-family, starting over, and "mythical" beasts.

M. Sparks Clark is a pen name Missy Hancock uses for the paranormal adventures she writes. "Sparks" in honor of her late mother who passed away two weeks into the writing of the series and whose feistiness lives on in Ele and "Clark" for her dad--who, in the author's childhood, regaled her with tales of wrestling bigfoot.
