I still love to read both Nora and Mary's books. Have you ever tried Linda Howard? I adore her writing style. She can infuse humor in her mystery/romance books and she makes it seem natural. One of my favorites by her is Mr. Perfect. For such a serious story, the humor in it is essential for lightening it up a bit.
I appreciate the offer of writing a review. It doesn't matter how skilled you are at it, as long as you write from your heart, that's all that matters. I had to work on how to write a good review. I asked myself, what would be important for me to know about this book to decide if I want to read it; then I go from there. It's kind of a challenge to write a good review without giving away too much...I enjoy doing them and if it is a bad review, I make sure it is done out of constructive critisism rather than being negative just to be negative!
Sorry, rattled a bit! I look forward to reading your review.

I'm not good at writing reviews but I'll try to write a few lines about Old Acquintances as soon as I read it. :)Can't wait for Carter's story!
I was reading your profile and I was delighted to find you like Nora Roberts and Mary Higgins Clark. I read my first mistery novel when I was 14 and it was Mary Higgins Clark's Stillwatch and after that my first romance,Nora Roberts's Sea Swept. They have inspired my love for books :) After all these years I still love them and still read them. xoxo
Hugs,
Mikky

I'm so glad you enjoyed reading Daniel and Carly's story! In Old Acquaintances you'll get to meet Stone, Matt and Rissa...they will always be special to me as they were my first story. I look forward to hearing what you think.
I'm working on Carter's story, so you get to know the youngest of the Wayne brothers better!
Blessings Mikky,
Ursula
