Judith Gaines is an award-winning Producer and Director, creating media content for the NHL, the WUSA, and NASCAR Hall of Famers. As the creator of thousands of local, regional, and national advertising campaigns, her projects include working with program directors at the NC Museum of Art, where Wired, the first book in the Jade Weekes series, was inspired. In addition, she completed training in Non-Verbal Communications in Forensics led by a former FBI agent and spy-catcher, Joe Navarro, is a member of Sisters In Crime, the North Carolina Writer’s Network, and is the owner and executive editor of IndieWriterPro.com. As a child in rural North Carolina, Judie Gaines read everything in sight, including a handed down set of Encyclopedias. She learned the art of storytelling through folktales and Greek myths and then moved on to loftier tomes of Shakespeare, Beowulf and a 1938 edition of Through the Looking Glass. She wrote her first short story at age 10 and has been crafting words together ever since. After 9 years in broadcast news, Judie turned her storytelling skills to marketing and advertising. Today she is a successful Media Producer with screen credits as Producer for the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and the WUSA’s Carolina Courage Coach’s Shows.
