Therese Dvir, an Israeli-Canadian citizen, born in Morocco and living in Israel since 1967. She is divorced since 2005 and a mother of three children.
Level of Education: French Literature, Arts and Business Management.
Languages: English and French (as mother tongue) Hebrew, Arabic and Persian.
Occupation: she retired after a very successful professional life as a Banker, an Administrator and Director of hi-tech companies.
She writes since her childhood. Her literary talents first came to the fore with essays which were read widely both within and outside the school and some even published in local newspapers.

Whilst she would have preferred it, she was not able to follow a literary career as her family and herself immigrated to Israel where she was perforce obliged to earn a regular income. Then she married and subsequently had three children.
Her ex-husband was/is an artist/painter and when he traveled to Canada to take up a position as an artist in residence with the Roman Catholic Board of Education in Hamilton, she, of course, accompanied him with the children. In Canada both his biography and catalogue of his works were published under the auspices of the Catholic Board. As her command of English was better than his, she in effect, compiled and wrote both publications.
