I am a professor of archaeology by day, and a book fanatic and book reviewer by night. My favorite genres are mystery, tech thrillers, psychological thrillers, dystopian/utopian/speculative fiction, literary fiction, domestic thrillers, sci-fi, and suspense. My obsession with books includes a stint as an intern for a literary agent and several years working for a national bookseller chain in retail.

Review: William

**5/5 Stars**

With so little time on my hands, I always appreciate a book that is fast-paced and to the point. Mason Coile’s W1ll1am is one of those can’t put me down reads that are easy to plow through after a long day at work.

The premise is timely. Henry, an out-of-job engineer who is homebound due to agoraphobia, spends his days tinkering in his lab. His wife, Lily, is in the tech industry

This book grabbed me right away and held me to the end. Unfortunately, it is a cliffhanger which I hate. I usually deduct a star for cliffhangers but this is such a solid 5-star book, I just couldn't.
