Emily Ann Imes is a connoisseur of words, a roller coaster enthusiast, a broadcast disc jockey, a fierce warrior of power and light, and a musician who performs in color. She has lived most of her life up to this point in the Midwest, driving through cornfields, inspiring others to create to their highest potential, and stopping at every amusement park along the way. After receiving her bachelor's degree in music from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she spent a year and a half pretending to work a desk job until coming to the realization that she wanted to be an author.

Her short story "Desynthesized" was an honorable mention in the 2010 Y-City Writers Conference Contest, and her novel "The Mystery of Taconum Carnival" was a quarterfinalis ...more

2017's End Of Year Review

Well, I used to write these on my old blog, but considering that I'm not keeping that blog anymore and I've grown away from it, these will be on my website now. I guess it's a partial effort to consolidate things, right? Regardless, I do this every year, and to miss out just because I don't have a personal blog anymore doesn't make any sense, particularly in the light of this year. So let's go.
