Victor Magiar, nato in Libia nel 1957, vive in Italia dal 1967. Tra i fondatori nel 1988 del "Gruppo Martin Buber - Ebrei per la pace", dal 1993 al 2001 è stato consigliere comunale di Roma, delegato dal sindaco per le politiche di educazione alla pace e di solidarietà e cooperazione internazionale. Consigliere della Comunità Ebraica di Roma, attualmente dirige il Dipartimento Relazioni Internazionali dell'Associazione Nazionale dei Comuni Italiani.
