Dimitris J. Kyrtatas (Greek: Δημήτρης Ι. Κυρτάτας) is Professor of Late Antiquity at the University of Thessaly. He studied in Thessaloniki and in the UK, earning his PhD from Brunel University and conducting postdoctoral research at King’s College London. He has taught ancient history since 1985 and authored numerous books on Greek antiquity and early Christianity.
