Chad was born in Illinois in 1965 and, with the urging of his father, was a sports fan from the time he could walk and talk. After more than 40 years of enjoying--and encouraging--his beloved sports teams and the various love/hate rivalries they were a part of, he saw the same fiery passion growing in his own son's and daughter's eyes. An idea for a book struck him --and his "RivalReads" series was born.

With three books published in a one-year span, Chad was given an Honorable Mention in Mascot Books' 2011 Author of the Year awards. His fourth and most ambitious book yet, A Big Hit With the Cubs, was published July 2012.

A graphic artist by trade, he now lives in Kansas City, MO and continues to be inspired every day by his wife, Maureen, a ...more
