Lynn Daley is a mother, writer, entrepreneur, and world traveller who explores themes of cultural identity and diversity in her work. Writing her forthcoming historical romance, Secrets of the Wisteria Tree, helped her reconnect with her own Mi’kmaq ancestors and reclaim her Indigenous heritage.

She holds a journalism diploma from the College of the North Atlantic, a bachelor's degree in community studies from Cape Breton University, and post-graduate certificates in creative writing and book publishing. She also is a certified yoga instructor and has visited nine countries in her quest to acquire knowledge and immerse herself in other cultures.
