Dale is a serving member of the Royal Air Force in the UK and is currently based in Cornwall. Over the past 17 years, he has trained thousands of UK military personnel in Survival, Evasion, Resistance to Interrogation and Extraction (SERE) techniques. Before life as a SERE instructor, Dale was a military PT instructor and ensured RAF personnel maintained the required standard of physical fitness.

He is a devout family man, who is blessed with his loving wife Lucy, and two wonderful kids Sonny and Indy. He wrote his first book, Off Grid Kid, to share the many life lessons he has experienced during an extensive military career with a younger audience.
