The author is a Native American, Idaho native. The 12 year meth
addiction of her youngest son provided some of the most painful, yet
encouraging lessons she never thought she’d learn. The process of
coping with the conflicting emotions created by watching her child
suffer, with those leading her toward her own life path, provided
the tools and the courage to share the truthful, yet sometimes
painful realities of loving an addict. She is the mother of 4, and the grandmother of 3. She would like
to thank the addicts in her life for their suffering, and allowing
