Hi, I'm DD Lenihan
I write dark romantasy about survivors who refuse to stay broken.

My stories braid Irish mythology with trauma healing, forbidden magic, and love that burns as fiercely as it saves.

In my worlds, demons fall first, broken girls rise last, and every wound becomes a weapon. These are tales for anyone who has ever crawled out of the dark and realized they were powerful all along.

I write women who survive what should have killed them and men who would burn kingdoms to keep them alive.

My love of Irish mythology stems from its cultural, feral, and tragically poetic storytelling.

A few of my favourite myths are...

The Children of Lir

The Tragic Love of Deirdre & Naoise

Étain & Midir

The Morrigan & Cú Chulainn

Oisín in Tír na nOg ...more
