I’m Tasha May, a dark fantasy author from England.

For years, stories lived in my head — fierce heroines, spirit wolves, blood moons, and worlds trembling on the edge of shadow. I didn’t just want to write a book. I wanted to build a world that felt real enough to get lost in.

That world became Moon Woken, the first book in The Thornblood Legacy — a planned three-part dark fantasy series.

As someone who is dyslexic, writing was never the obvious path — but it became the most important one. What began as imagination grew into something far deeper. Writing has become a form of therapy for my mental health, a space where I can explore resilience, grief, strength, and healing through the characters I create.

David writes wonderfully This is a very interesting book and I do agree that if you’re a fan of Game of Thrones this book is probably for you. David has a way with writing that just works and flows beautifully.
