I'm an Indie author and very proud of it. I've published six books , RED MOJO MAMA and the sequel RED IS AN ATTITUDE, TELL THEM YOU'RE FABULOUS, HER HEART, THE GREAT TWITTER ADVENTURE and a handbook called BLOG & TWEET.

My background is extremely diverse, with jobs from cab driving to executive, journalist to office manager. I've tried many fields of writing and finally found my niche in fiction and creative non-fiction. I love writing in first person.

I'm a mother of two grown children and a widow. I live in an RV - on purpose - but may have to change that to a boat in the future!

Wanderlust is my other middle name.

John Steinbeck
“We, or at least I, can have no conception of human life and human thought in a hundred years or fifty years. Perhaps my greatest wisdom is the knowledge that I do not know. The sad ones are those who waste their energy in trying to hold it back, for thy can only feel bitterness in loss and no joy in gain.”
John Steinbeck, Travels with Charley: In Search of America

Wallace Stegner
“Something will have gone out of us as a people if we ever let the remaining wilderness be destroyed ... We simply need that wild country available to us, even if we never do more than drive to its edge and look in.”
Wallace Stegner, The Sound of Mountain Water

John Muir
“Another glorious Sierra day in which one seems to be dissolved and absorbed and sent pulsing onward we know not where. Life seems neither long nor short, and we take no more heed to save time or make haste than do the trees and stars. This is true freedom, a good practical sort of immortality.”
John Muir, My First Summer in the Sierra

“The earth has its music for those who will listen”
Reginald Vincent Holmes, Fireside Fancies

George Carlin
“I like it when a flower or a little tuft of grass grows through a crack in the concrete. It's so fuckin' heroic.”
