is a former civil servant, diplomat and army officer who has spent most of his adult life protecting the UK, with two decades in counter-terrorism roles - including eleven years posted in South Asia, South-East Asia and the Middle East. He holds a Masters in Terrorism & Political Violence (St And.) and is currently working on his second novel.

This is set in WW2, and concerns a young woman pilot who is shattered by a tragedy in 1944, she terminates her flying career, retreating to her beloved family home to recuperate.
