Ashley Memory has published essays and short stories in a number of literary journals and magazines, including Cairn, Portland Literary Review, Georgia State University Review, Wildlife in North Carolina, and Romantic Homes. She is a two-time winner of the Doris Betts Fiction Prize and her first novel, Naked and Hungry, will be published by Ingalls Publishing Group of Boone and available in bookstores on November 1, 2011.

Naked and Hungry was named a finalist in the 2009 James Jones First Novel Fellowship sponsored by Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.
