Charles Conrad Abbott was an American archaeologist and naturalist. He earned a M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1865, but he turned to archeology and was the assistant curator of the Peabody Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts (1876-1889) and first curator of the University of Pennsylvania's Department of American Archaeology (1890-1894). ...more
