Alex Vale is the chosen pseudonym for a Midwestern-turned-upstate New Yorker. He somehow managed to survive the Bible Belt growing up as an openly queer trans guy and continues to kick in gender barriers during days of hiking and writing. When not glued behind a screen or a book, you can find him hovering in the corners of dark and dingy DIY metal venues.
