I'm Michael, a Canadian self-published author.

From a young age, creative writing enthralled me, beckoned with a siren’s call of latent potential. Having been inspired by vivid mythology and the golden age of fictional pulp, I started my literary sojourn crafting short stories in the likeness of Robert. E Howard.

Poetry was a cathartic coping mechanism during a darker period of my life, when depression, self-loathing, existential dread, and despondency gripped my heart mercilessly. Merging myth and introspective musing into a tapestry of pained art allowed for the healing of invisible wounds, and in no small part saved my life from ruination. It has since become a strong foundation of my essence.
